The first World Hung Kuen Judge Course by the World Hung Kuen Association Wong Fei Hung Lineage was held in Lei Yu Mun Sports Centre on 4 May 2014.

The contents of the course were approved and selected by The World Hung Kuen Association, and decided to appoint Master Lam Soi Cheong, the International master of martial arts referee in Macau, international referee Master Lai iam Fong, world-class martial arts referee Master Hung Koi Kong and Master Wong Hon Keung to be the instructors of the course.

The persons who attended to take charge of the course are: Master Sin Kwok Lam, the Chairman of the World Hung Kuen Association, Master Lau Bak Fu (Lau Charm Lineage), Master Yuen Yau Chin ( Tang Fong Lineage) and Master Cheng Bo Yee ( Tang Fong Lineage). After the commencement ceremony, three martial arts masters from Macau lectured the course. It included the referees agencies, referee rules, scoring system and live score work. Participants were members of the World Hung Kuen Association, inheritor branches of Wong Fei Hung, Lam Cho Lineage, Ling Wan Kai Lineage, Lam Cho Lineage, Chiu Chi Ling Lineage, Mok Kwai Lan Lineage, Tang Fong Lineage, Lau Charm Lineage, Huen Kang Chau Lineage and other martial arts masters who were interested in it. The number of the participants is over fifty.

The course is one of the preparatory works for the first World Hung Kuen competition in Xiqiao in November this year. There will be Hung Kuen movement techniques, fighting class and lion dance class.
